nicely captured.. great colors.. love the barn and the reflection... my recommendation would to not position the barn in the center of the composition but to have it off center or a different perspective.. having said that, it is a great scene...

Whew Kathy! Excellent DOF and pretty reflection! Great all around colors too! This pic really sets the "mood" for fall. There's a lot going on in this pic, but not too much...it's a great balance. I like the little bird house hanging from the tree. Makes it feel warm and homey. It's definitely an interesting shot. I really like it! Can't wait to see more fantastic shots Kath. Best regards.

Very scenic shot, dear Kathy! that bicolour barn is so strongly in contrast with the mellow landscape around it. But what is happening around the pond is even more breathtaking: the dried grasses (OH!) and the reflections in the greenish water, absolutely fascinating.

Hi Janet,
Brillion is about 30 minutes from Appleton and 45 from Green Bay (I think SW). My husband and his partner have started a business here in WI and he is spending more time here than he is home in WA. Hopefully that will change soon, but in the meantime I came back here this time instead of him coming home. It's a nice time to be here, with all the colors still hanging on, and before it gets too cold!
