Thanks for the info Sheila. As I said my 2 fav films were Tri-X and Plus-X. I did use another Kodak film called BW400CN, which is a C-41 process film. Since I did not have a darkroom, it was quicker to have developed since it did not have to go to a lab. The computerized photolabs did an okay job on developing, and I could easily correct any problems in Photoshop. I do my own printing digitally.

Hi Richard. Thanks for all of your nice comments on my work.
As for the film. I don't believe that Ilford HP-5 is a C41 film. I'm taking a dark room class and I've used the Ilford Delta Pro and Kodak Professional Plus-X film. We can develope these two types of film in the dark room ourselves. I think that there is only one place here in town that will develope the Ilford and Plus-X. I think that the C41 can be developed anywhere. The key words here are "I think" because I am only just begining to learn about all of the many different film types myself.
I used the 400 speed film for most of my dark room photos. I really liked the grainy effect that it gave.

Great composition with your aggressive crop. I love the feel and look of your B+W work. Is that Ilfords C-41 film????? I am more familiar with Kodaks product line.

Thank you for your nice comment Sam. This photo was shot on black and white film so, unfortunately, there's no colored version to show you. Maybe I will have to shoot some more in color. Thanks again! -Sheila

Sheila this is great portrait shot/close-up. I love how you capture her pout and big beautiful eyes. I also like how you capture the whole sassy mood with all the details of the knitted hat and it's pattern is wonderful too. I can't find anything wrong with this photo it's very good. I do wonder what it would look like in color ;). Thanks for showing the photo. SAM
