This is great, Markus. I love the low angle you took it, the contrasting colors and the out-of- focus second flower playing second violin.
Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Billiard room 3", "King City" (I'll attach it without the frame) and "Arches." Creating a counterpoint was my idea in the latter and you spotted it.

An excellent, duel-colour effect, with the sharp backlit yellow petals, against the blurred red background. And an effective, complementary frame to finish. A well composed and satisfying image, Markus.

Very nice composition with the flower set on a diagonal. Creates a dynamic graphic. The contrast is bold and well rendered both in DOF and exposure.
