About I found this at once rather funny and sad. I'd love someone to suggest a more apt title for this image!

Hi Ant, It's over a month since you've disappeared from UF. I'm wondering (and I'm not the only one) what happened to you? Hope you're OK, but give us a sign of life! Please!

I was thinking of a political statement. Well, never mind. Better try to stay out of politics here :)

Nah Ina, it was just the "Two Hour Parking Sign".

I was going to suggest the title be...

The Naked Civil Servant..

...but thought twice about it )

I'll be short: I love this image! It's thought provoking and exceptionally good from all aspects. photographically speaking. I don't know American history, so I had to look up W.E.B. Dubois, civil rights leader (1868 - 1963) and learned about his life. The title is great. Lacking the background, I may not grasp all the facets of this, but I think this is in a way more of a conceptual piece, rather than visual. Visually, it is fantastic. 7/7

Is there a limit to the comment length, I wonder, because every time I click "add comment" it doesn't register.

Hi Ant, I'm trying to add a comment, but it doesn't seem to work. I'll try again:
I had to Google Dubois, please excuse my ignorance in American history. W.E.B. Dubois, African American civil rights leader (1868 - 1963). The message of the mural is effective, it made me look and learn who he was. The image is superb, I couldn't tell that it was a mural, until I saw the parking sign and the concrete blocks. This is a though provoking image, if this was your intention. So I won't comment on its photographic merits, although they are quite remarkable. There is more to it than meets the eye, and jury is still out...

Hi Ant, excuse my ignorance in American history, I had to google Dubois, as I didn't quite understand the message. W.E.B. Dubois, civil rights leader (1868 - 1963)- interesting life and legacy. Well, the message is effective, it made me look and find out who he was. Anyway, good title! Aside from the message itself, the image is superb, I couldn't tell this was a street mural without seeing the parking sign. It is a thought-provoking image, if this was your intention. So I won't comment on its photographic merits, although they are quite remarkable, that is not the point - right?

Well, the message is effective, it made me look and find out who he was. I assume for people in the know, there is more significance to your image. That I cannot grasp with my limited knowledge. Anyway, good title! Aside from the message itself, the image is superb, I couldn't tell this was a street mural without seeing the parking sign and the concrete blocks.
