About Another visitor to my garden that I have been trying to Photograph for ages is this "Picus viridis". This was taken at full zoom through double glazing, in morning sunlight. The bird (You can tell it's a male by the red "moustache" under the eye.) was about 7 metres from my house and I was behind a first floor window. He is very aware of any prescence and I just couldn't get any closer.
