What caught my eye was the blue sky behind what I thought was really a rainbow until I read your "about" It may be my 8 yr old monitor or my ancient eyes but I could not see the couple until I brightened it a bit. They do fit well into the photo. Del.

Even though it's a little dark to see the walkers it shows off that strange phenomenon so nicely. I like the curve of the curve of the horizon line too and the tree silhouette. There's a lot here to like.

hi, the vertical bow is cool and great timing to capture the dog walkers...i agree that the overall shot is a bit underexposed and i was wondering how a wide format crop would look...beautiful countryside! well seen,Poe ~Shameless

Great sunset, I like how it seems as if the rainbow is highlighting the back of the person walking the dog. Wonderful sky. Alison

Nice silhouette shot of the walkers, Rebecca! An interesting phenomenon with the colours, we get those on cold winter days, we call them "sun dogs". Nice to see you posting! Dave.

This one needs to be opened up to appreciate it - from the thumbnail you can't make out the silhouetted couple! I really like how you captured the walkers against the dark hill in the background. I think the rainbow effect is from the sunlight going through ice crystals in the atmosphere? I find it overall a little dark, so just for kicks I tried a brighter and more colorful version - hope you don't mind! Cropped a little, too.
