Darlene,
Not sure what type of bird he is, but I know there is not much danger of him breaking that cable! :)
I think that fact is part of the strength of the image. You just sense the bird's light weight and fragility compared to the wire. It sounds a little silly saying that, but I think that is part of the charm.

Thanks Fabrizio! You've got a wonderful lens (the 100-400) I did use the 1.4TC but camera was not on a tripod, it was on a beanbag on my car window. Had lots of light!! Can't wait to see more of your images. Darlene

....wow..beautiful....I like the tipical tele-zoom background(unfocus)....you used the extender 1,4(did you use the tripod too??)...I think so...'cause I've just bougth the canon 1,4 and I use it whit the 100/400 IS... but to get a good immagine I always have to use a tripod!!..Isn't it????!!
best regards Darlene

Hi Darlene,

What you have there is a fine example of a Northern Rough-winged Swallow. Well captured.

This one must be small, cause the wire look big in his legs, nice work Darlene.
