Justin has a point here, I may have part of the solution there is a lot to learn from this image! - I think the flash is the main problem. It makes the face flat, emphasizes skin irregularities, and gives shiny spots, as wel as a shadow under the chin. Your studio and outdoors work is indeed much better... Gyuzel does have potential as a model! nice pose but the composition is rather boring. Contrast and colors are mediocre. nice, but not one of your better pieces. Your other work is pretty great!
