Thank you, Elisa. I'm grateful for any comment. In this case I couldn't see enough from this glimmering sea and left therefore as much a possible. I have to confess maybe not in the interest of a good picture. But that's just me;-D

Sorry about Pltvice, it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen and unless I'm mistaken also a Unesco world heritage. Our hosts (of a symposium I was at in Zagreb) arranged a marvelous picnic for us there with dancers from Korcula. Before that, at the opening dinner of the symposium, they served huge amounts of meat and when we told them, after gorging ourselves with it, that we were not used to such amounts of meat, they followed up with an equally huge serving of vegetarian food... Regards, Rafi

Thanks, Rafi. We have left Dubrovnik for our next holidays in Dalmatia, as well as the Plitvice National Park, which we skipped due to bad weather.
I have a similar cap, but wear it only in winter. In summer I always have a baseball cap against the sun;)

Great capture of this cathdral, my friend Markus. Brings back fond memories. If you have not been there so far, lovely Dubrovnik and incomparable Sveti Stefan still await you. Thank you for your very kind words about my "Multiple autoportrait", "Reflection in Eilat" and "Against the sun." As to my cap, it is my trade mark. When I was young, it was against the sun that gave me migrain, now that I've lost lots of hair, albeit I'm far from being bald, it's against the cold, especially at airconditioned places and here almost everything is airconditioned. Best regards, Rafi

Interesting roof textures combined with the glittering water makes this quite nice. I feel tempted to crop off about half of the area above the tower, but that?s just me :)

You are so right, Christian. If you don't stay at a site you have to take it or leave it. This one is actually a crop from a larger picture, see below. But I found it interesting to have the white stone of the cathedral just in front of the spatkling sea water.

Well composed. I like the entire image, but feel attracted by the reflections on the water. It makes me think that this scenery would change so much under a different light, maybe early in the morning, or at sunset, depending on orientation. But I know how it is while on travel. It's a situation where you take it or leave it...
