About	My wife wanted some up-to-date shots of the kids to put up and this is what she's ended up with. I haven't been shooting much recently, but I have been playing quite a bit with PS. I feel like I'm getting somewhere with it now. Always used it for cropping, levels etc but not a lot more than that. Really enjoying playing with it now.

Thanks for your comment. My wife had been asking me to get some shots for ages. She was out one morning when I noticed the light was particularly good by the lounge window. I moved our dining table over in front of it and sat Connor on top. I just asked him what made him smile, what made him laugh and started getting some good expressions. He clapped at something and it looked really good so I asked him to hold his hands together and told him a few jokes. He's hyperactive and very difficult to shoot normally. I was very very pleased with these and this one in particular was my favourite.

Great portrait. What a rare example of that posed-yet-spontaneous look. And a nice touch of softness.
