Fantastic contrast range and gorgeous pose. Your overall photo experience really shows, even if this IS your first portrait session. Nice job, Steven.

ok I basically use Photoshop elements 2. Ijust converted it to remove color. Used some levels and some burning and dodging. I am not thatgreat with PS just normal stuff. But I did use something called Diffuse glow on this. You go to invert, then filter and Diffuse glow and use settings of 0 1 and 8 then click on invert again and it gives it this soft dreamy look.

Mon ami, Steven, Wonderful work!! You have captured a very pretty lady's potrait and shared with us your achievement. Congratulations!! The photo is superb, clear, contrasts are good (I love the crispness of B&W), and the beauty of the model shine through. Merci du partage!!! Etienne

You did a great job steven!
Try burning in her lower legs and the RR ties lower right just a tiny tad, see if you like it better. Might help, might not.

Very pretty model Steven, you made her feel relaxed, a great pose, love the background blur and it works well with the B&W! The only thing I see is that the background tends to dominate, maybe moving a little to your left would have put her more central and in more of a dominating position, love it, Cary
