what a nice photo!
I like the photo maybe because it's my kind of photos, not that big a subject, but still simple and lovely.
I remember to take a shot like this years ago and I can imagine your feelings shooting this one (probably), you saw the door and the the lock chamber and.... and found it really hard to forget, so (still probably) decided to take some photos.

Well seen circles and lines indeed, and also their shadows and textures. So simple, and yet interesting...I never liked geometry in school but I like it in this photo so much!

Questo non me l'ero proprio aspettata. Che bella sorpresa!!!!! E che sfortuna aver perso di vederla in tempo!!!! Mille grazie. A dirti il vero, dopo essere rimasta un po'a bocca aperta, mi son guardata questa foto in tutti i suoi dettagli. A parte il fatto che sembra sia perfetta per me, e'anche molto significativa. La parte di una porta chiusa sa di mistero, mi rende curiosa, mi invita a pensare e sbirciare in quel buco di chiave. Chissa'che dall'altra parte non ci siano gli amici veri come te. Chissa' se veramente devo convincermi ad aprirla per esserne piu'sicura. Mi hai convinto, caro Robi. Stassera, succeda quel che succeda, mettero'su una nuova foto. Questo e'il piu' bel regalo per il mio compleanno. Mi fa sorridere di nuovo.
Non mi resta che aggiungere che questa e'proprio una tua immagine, ben curata nei dettagli, un ottimo taglio e la luce perfetta. E poi, la struttura del legno la rende affascinabte.

Gee hard light Roberto!
Wasn?t sure I liked that but see it what is responsible for the weathering process that has created these patterns and funky shapes.
Importantly I can still see in the shadows.
The light stronger in Italy than it will ever be here in New Zealand. Well captured.

Composizione semplice ma ti ottimo effetto, mi piacciono molto i dettagli enfatizzati dalla luce che crea ombre sulle venature del legno, valido anche l'accostamento delle forme e delle tonalità.
