I wouldn't worry bout the overexposed sky, maybe a slightly tighter crop would have helped, but it's all in the kids expression and pose. Great stuff :)

the framing definately works with this picture, and the dof is great- very creative, very cool.

I absolutely love the framing of this shot! I think it gives the image emphasis on the fact that he has still got a little growing to do before his grrrr compares with the rest of the world around him. I am a personal fan of unconvetional framing. Great shot!!

grat shot! i agree, it reminds me of my childhood. i may have entitled it "memory lane". great sharpness on the boy, and i like how the backdrop is a bit difused. good job

I like this. Creative framing, unusual expression, selective sharp focus, backlighting. It takes me way back to childhood as a boy, when playtime was life. Go for it, Jason.

Well Well Well...Love the "sepia tone" of course. The child "hamming" it up is so much fun and makes me feel good. Your images have made me so much want to go back to childhood when life was a "blast"! As for the framing and so on and so forth I'm not bothered by it at all. It's the child and his "scary" pose that makes the image. Well on second thought I may have cropped all the way down from the top to just above his little head. He's so adorable.
