Thanks for comments Roberto. I have seen this effect used for static objects like buildings and cars. I think it works well with any symetrical object - what I liked here was the combination of the colours more than the zoom effect itself. It just made the image a little more interesting.
It just goes to show that you can find interesting objects to capture on your own doorstep and not just in the field

Well.. this shot, the technical of this click I see her like my realizations. I call zoom-active. it is the rotation of the zoom with a long time of pose, I have some result in my portfolio, but I have never thought I would use it on the flowers, beautiful idea.. Wishes.. roby

Thanks Bryan, Although the colours of the flowers and the vase were very strong visually, I think this play shot works better than a simple snap of the flowers in their conventional state

Yes Janet, the colours were fabulous - the gerbera magenta pink in a bright orange vase. I was just playing around and am really pleased with the way the shots came out.
