Hey, I used that film recently! In any case, I like your composition here...and the detail in the flower and the B&W tones and grain are wonderful too..:)

What strikes me allways with these analog bw shots is the fact that there is nothing digital whic can compete with the overall 'haptic' of such a photo - it is in the tonality, the grain, the 'bukeh' and whatever - excellent.
And above this you once again prooved your excellent eye for composition, Verena

Hi Verena,
Das ist ein ganz starkes Stück... Man muss schon genau hinschauen, um zu erkennen, was man da eigentlich sieht. Das allein ist schon klasse. Ich sehe da eine Menge... Abschied, Schmerz, aber auch Hoffnung. Danke für dieses Bild.
LG,
Thilo

Oh so moooooooody Verena! I like the compo and the water on the flowers leaves are very effective! I wonder had it had been if you have done the background a little darker, what do you think?

This is a picture that leads to feel and to think in MHO. First trying to understand the whole picture.. then one can see the composition with the flower in the foreground and the drawing made by the "ground" in the background (which is well seen and the orientation well choosen).. After that, one can feel and understand the title, with this flower on the surface of the water. I like the details of the flower, and the small dewdrops on the petal. The composition is superb with the position of this flower at the bottom right, and this gives rise to a feeling of loneliness.. Excellent Verena!! A hug Fabrice
