About Dedicated to the swift actions of
our Top Notch Government.

The high tide's rising
Don't you let me down
Pack up your suitcase
Don't make a sound
It's King for King
Queen for Queen
Gonna be the meanest flood
That anybody's ever seen
Oh, ain't you gonna miss
your best friend now?
You're gonna have to
find yourself another
Best friend somehow

"Down in the Flood" by
Bob Dylan

I thought this was a great picture, til I saw the ad on the side of the trolley, that made it truly fantastic... And I'm fascinated by the comments on your politicians!

Powerful...this whole situation...in a few words...what took so long???...this is a sad situation...what took so long?? Is is just a coincidence that the help arrived the same day as Dubya's visit...politics again???

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.....Bob Dylan

What a timely shot,Mark...great capture and apt "about"....peace,gayle

(Ted Koppel was brilliant!...finally saw the interview with FEMA spokesperson)

Yeah, I did hear that The Condilessasoress was "Painting the Town Red" in the Big Apple while the Big Easy was turning into a submarine. Look, man, floods aren't suppose to happen during summer holidays. Everybody KNOWS that, Duh. "Me Time" is important (plus she needs to look hot - she "Represents".....) Ah, what can I say......

Yeah. sure.
I just heard Dear Leader report today that "Help will be forthcoming." WILL BE?

I hear that one of our hospital ships WILL BE leaving Baltimore harbor Sunday to steam to New Orleans.

What a pro-active group of leaders!
NOW we find out that they give every attention to Norlins rioting that they did to the Baghdad riots. I just keep waiting to see Rumsfeld pop his head out and say "ya know...stuff happens".

Did you hear that in the midst of ALL THIS...
Secretary of State Condoleeze Rice went to enjoy SPAMALOT on Broadway, and the next day, went shopping at Ferragamo for a bunch of new shoes?

I mean, everyone needs a little "me time".
