Thanks for the comment, Todd. I did it in PS. Using the magic wand, I highlight everything but the sparks and desaturate. The first run will get you most of the picture. You have to blow the picture up quite a bit to clean up the areas that don't get captured initially.
If you want more detailed instruction, let me know.

I like that the only thing in color is the sparks..the image really tells the story, I can feel the tension..nice documentary type image Mark...:):)Linda
