About Sometimes, when you go into a bar, you just happen to meet your significant other. Other times, no matter where you go, you can always find companionship...

Cheers,

Hey Dave...*smile*

I like the concept of this image very much, but like Chelsea, I felt something was missing and was thinking along the same lines as Petros...you need a lit cigarette and some smoke in the image *smile*

Everything seems a little too lined up. Maybe the pkg could be on more of an angle even opened showing the cigarettes. Phill also has good ideas! Do a series of these and see what else you come up with...want to see more *smile*

You have handled the lighting and exposure well....Maggie

David I like this...

I would try something slightly different though... Perhaps a lit cigarette, resting on the ashtray, and some light from behind and slightly above the subject to allow for the smoke to be seen...

As I said, I like it how it is... But I would have loved to see some smoke... It just seems a little static like this...

Nice shot, reminds me of something from an old 50s movie, need a jazz saxaphone playing in the backround and a glass of whiskey on the table to complete the scene.

The gloomy lighting on this seems so appropriate for the subject matter. Nice catch of the lighting on the
ashtray. Something about the composition bugs, me, though. Wondering if it would be improved by angling
the camera to pick up a bit more edge below the "shadow" of the ashtray, the corner of the cigarette pack
no quite so close to the edge, and not have the line of the table edge leading off the corner?
