About
This is my church, with the lady who recently retired as our organist standing in front of it. I liked the backlit leaves and wanted to capture something of the effect.
I'm a sucker for images with backlit leaves, Roger. You've captured the Japanese fauna of this little garden, effectively. I also like the trees, framing the bland, church architecture.
The organist is a she, Ellen! She persevered with the organ well into her seventies... but she is rather camera shy. This lovely film is my standard in the winter months. In the summer I use the similar 400 ISO emulsion. The high speed keeps camera shake at bay and lets me use slower (darker) lenses.
Nice catch Roger. Did the fellow not want a close up? He would make a great focal point with this scene in the bacground. I like the color this film gives you Roger good choice. Regards, Ellen
