great capture.. like the lighting.. sorry to hear about your father passing.. I have been there and I know how tough it is....but, keeping his memory alive is the best thing that helped me...only time will help ease the pain...

Wonderful photo... full of emotion, as you are these days I'm sure. My father passed away three years ago (July) inexplicably I got very blue at the end of July, then it dawned on me, it was the anniversary of his death. I think about him lots, and always miss him, I just keep him in my heart & try to make him proud in all I do. :) God Bless, I'll keep you in my prayers. Dottie

Thank you for your support my friend! He had been sick for quite some time so it wasnt a huge chock but it goes up and down.. i surely miss him and think of him.

Patric, Im sorry to know about your father, but you should think that he was an angel that God lent to you and your family for 78 years and that now, fulfilled his mission in the earth, God has called him so that he rests in the paradise from he will continue taking care of all you until you meet in the paradise when arrives the time. I will pray for him in my daily prayers.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost my daughter a few years ago and I can understand, it is very difficult to cope with sometimes. It will get easier but you will always miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss my friend. I cannot say I know how you feel....as I don't. I have not experienced that feeling and I don't look forward to it either. But please, in my honesty, know this. I do feel for you and wish I could help you.
As for your image...you have really put yourself into this one. Your touch with reality shines through. The details are superb as is the expression on his face.
Patrick....a word of advice. This feeling you have at the moment has changed your way you see things. Don't fight it....use it. Your Dad would be so proud of you.

Patrick, this is an excellent portrait, the tones and angle you used are extremely good.
I hope you are doing okay, it is such a difficult and painful time, losing a parent is so very hard. We are going away for a couple of weeks - my best wishes to you, and catch up with when we return.
