Okay, Kathy! This is one of your best pics. Everything about the balance, colors, lighting, comp, and DOF are just about perfect. This is beautiful and well captured. WOW.

Thanks, Michael, for both of your comments. Now I will give you a glimpse of how new I am at this...I'm not sure what you mean by post processing. All I did with this one was crop it and adjust the levels a tiny bit. The colors here really didn't need any help. It's a beautiful place! Thanks again for your time and comments! Kathy

My dad scuba dived through deception pass a long time ago... it was pretty amazing. He had to stop the dive short though due to some heart problems... but he said it was beautiful underneath.
We've had our boat under that pass more times than I can count... Always fun to play in the whirlpools... you can go almost full throttle and not go anywhere. :)

Kathy, As in Washington (and Rainy) Pass thru the north cascades? If so, yes I've been through there MANY times. I used to ride my bike from Hamilton to Winthrop about every year. I was just there in November of last year, unfortunately, I don't have any pics of it on this computer. :) I'll get some uploaded. :)

This is really awesome Sissy. Nice colors and balance. The sky and water are almost the same great blue color. And yup, you caught me doing what I do! Can't get away with anything! Good job. Suz

Thanks, Cathy! My husband is a "small world" expert...this time it was my turn! I didn't even think about the picture of Sarah's son...duh! Deception Pass amazes me every time that I see it. Keep those photos coming! Kathy

Thanks Kathy! This is an awesome shot! I love the rich blue sky and the drift wood. I have never been down to the beaches near there. Actually, the first time I ever took a picture of the bridge was a week or so ago when I posted my first one of the bridge. I drive over that thing twice a day for about 6 years now and never took a shot! Everything is just so vivid in your pic. Really amazing.

Thanks, Klifton! Have you ever been to Wa. Pass? There are a couple of shots coming from there, too! Give Becky my best, and give those twins a hug for me! Kathy

And here I thought this one would be for me! :) You're hitting the nail on the head for getting shots I want. ;)
This is from little north beach, right?
Beautiful colors, I have several dozen shots from this location, myself. :)
Can hardly wait to take the twins back to see where Daddy's from! :) By the way, my wife's name is Becky.
