Absolutely spectacular. I'm not sure what exactly it is about this shot that mezmerizes. The composition is very good... a floral leaf seems to wrap around a dark circle in the background... the DOF is excellent. But in the end I think it is that the bud seems so... alive. Almost like an animal bending to drink or examine something on the ground. Wonderful floral portrait, bravo!
