Hi Ron, yes this is in the lake almost dried in August so none live or stay in the lake but around it there is plenty (well not more than two or three) of hotels and restaurants

I think tha boat is very important to this otherwise bleak location. It looks so barren and deserted in the hills. Does anyone / anything live nearby?

It's a beautiful, peaceful scene. It looks like the lake level is low and the hills are dry. I hope you get a nice, gentle, long rain.
