Excelent macro Alison! This has it all - colour contrast, detail and composition. Well done getting such a great result from such a dificult subject (so easy to lose the details of the beetle by underexposing!)

I love the beautiful shiny greens of the beetle against that salmon color of the hibiscus! It looks like there might be another beetle in the folds beneath him.

Hi Alison! The beetle's (bug's?) shiny green body make a stark contrast on the soft pink flower. Nice macro work.
