Good use of the light. I think I have seen those over this way. But I might be wrong.

I would have said chinese lantern as well, but don't know the horticultural name - but I do know this is a fabulous macro. The details are great, the colour and tones lovely and the lighting just fabulous. Excellent composition

Rafi, Wonderful capture. The light does look like it's coming from within. Well done. Marilyn

Really nice use of the light. The one seems to be pointing the viewer to some unknown thing. These look like our Chinese Lantern plants.

I love this shot - the shadowing and light source is splendid - capturing the color without over saturating it. Great work. I really like the variety in your portfolio.
Thanks for the reply on Serenity - I do like to play with moods, kids seems to show theirs a little more freely than adults (they haven't been conditioned to mask them yet). I love the commenting you mentioned (not on award shots but on others or more recent). I too, go through and look for something striking and comment unless it's an amazing photo then I will make 2 comments. :)
Thanks for the comment and I look forward to seeing more of your work now that we've met! :)
