Isaac, this is nicely composed. You are right to concentrate on the in camera work. I am guessing when you have it right you will know. The PS work can only improve an image that has a basis to start. Too much white may have thrown off your meter. Bracket like crazy or use the spot sensor. Do you have a gray card? Or better yet, something you always have with you that you can use to balance the light/shadows within the camera. Some use and incident meter. Still this is a nice image. Keep shooting like you have been. I have enjoyed seeing your work, lately.

Thanks for the critique; I'm not sure about your reference to the background man (blown out background??) and I'm only just begining to learn PS...I agree, more can be done but everything in its time.

the background man is distracting, and you could do a lot with PS just to improve the levels.
