Cabot Trail looks like it offers some very impressive sights, Todd!

Mary,
I was a little disappointed that most of my landscape shots from the Cabot Trail had a blown out sky, but I wanted to post one of them at least. I was such a spectacular tour.

Hi Todd. I have been away for a bit in Toronto with my daughter helping her get my first grandchild's room ready! Nice to be missed. This is a beautiful picture. I love the DOF and the varying colours. The sky is a bit blown out but it is natural from your camera. It, perhaps could use some colour. However, I agree that Mark's sky is not exactly a perfect fit. Regardless, it is a beautiful picture. Mary

Hi Mark,
I don't mind at all! That's why I post here. It's great to review other's ideas. I'm not sure I like this edit though. I agree totaly with what you are saying, but now the contrast with the horizon looks all wrong. Perhaps you should have extended the sky down to the water line instead.

Sorry, Todd, I couldn't resist. This is a beautiful scene that is really hurt by the drab sky. I did a little PS magic and added some for you. Hope you don't mind. Nothing frustrates me more in shooting landscapes than a blown out sky.
