About	Every weekend , Saturday and Sunday, many artists gather in Art building in Jakarta either to express or to display their art works. In addition to its reachable place, the Art building is known by the Jakarta residents as the house of the artists. It is located on Gedung Kesenian,no.1, central Jakarta. The idea of constructing this building was first from the Dutch Governor General, Daendels. The idea was then realized by the England Governor General, Thomas Stanford Raffles in 1814. At the time of the Dai Nipon military colony the building functioned as the military base and at the time of independence era it functioned both as the lecturing room for the students of Economy and Law faculties of Indonesia University and as cinema. The first name of this building was Municipal Theatre, Schouwburg, or it was popular with "Gedung Komidi" (Comedy Building), and in the Japan colony it was known as Kiritsu Gekitzyoo, and it became the cinema "Dana" and the City theater. In 1984 the building was renovated and was refunctioned as the art stage, and the name became Jakarta Art Building up to now.

I quite like the light and hpw it separates the Art Building from the shadows. EWxcellent contrast and glow. Indeed this is an artistic presentation of a subject worthy of exactly that. Cheers my friend, Gerhardt
