this almost looks like a lotus flower that one might see in asia, however the flowers are constructed a bit differently. as with the lotus flower, they share that "showerhead" look. interesting to see.

Very cool if a little fuzzy! :) The colors are really wonderful in this, and I love the repeating pattern in the center! Have a great time back home - I envy you the chance to get some great photos!!

Nice Alison!Yes, the composition is beautiful!!!Are You getting use to the closeup lenses??I just ordered an adapter ring and a couple filters from B&H. Thanks for the tip!! I'll send for the closeup lenses at a later time! Meanwhile You have a great trip to Guatemala!Be safe and take a scillion photos!!!(A scillion is a 1 followed by a scillion zeros!!!
