About	British Olympian taken at Eridge Horse Trials today. Never been to this kind of event before. Had loads of fun trying to figure out where to stand, which angles to go for. Had it sorted by the end of the day..... just got to wait for a year until they come back here! :)

I had a great day. Too be honest I'd spent most of the day at the water jump with a 80-200mm on my cam. I'd foolishly left my 18-70mm in the car and was on my way out when I heard Pippa Funnell was going around again. I sprinted back to the car, switched lenses, sprinted back to the nearest fence and got there with about 10 seconds to spare. I will definitely have another go next year... and be better.

Bruce, good shot and full of detail.When you do them in future click the shutter a little earlier. Once the horses hooves are coming down is just a fraction too late.Try to have a look at some of the experts and note the position. it's a pity you hve to wait a year because you are almost there with your tecnique and this is a very good shot.
