I have one without the stairs from a different part of the tower.. will upload it tomorrow i think! That shot clearly shows that its taken in a tower and the texture is marvelous.. its in color atm.. but i might change to bw.

Thank you karen! =) I tried to convert to bw but it doesnt get as good as the first bw shot i made.. the tonal range is lacking in bw. Tried to work with it but didnt get happy about it so i left it in color instead.
Thank you for your inputs and help and all these photos from this serie! =)

I like the angle you've shot this at. With the way the window is positioned in the wall really gives the image a sense of height. How tall is this tower, I have no clue, but it seems to be larger than life. I think I prefer the black & white treatment of the other photo compared to this one-as it had a bit more character, and it showed the details nicely.

Hey yeah...done deal. Take your wireless laptop and link up with me through MSN or Yahoo....thatll work as long as your webcam and microphone is working. Mine's ready to go.
As for the history, I wish we had that type of history here...Australia is only a young country. Although I am a mixture of English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh and German but Australian since the start of the country....apparently we still have some castles or something over the other side of the world.

Ill grab a videophone.. you tell me over the phone where i should aim the camera and what settings.. and ill send you the raw file! =) The most famous artists in the world had people helping them to both paint and sculpture! hehe
I know the feeling though.. cant say that we have that many old houses left here in my town.. if you compare to a town like Prague where i think i would stay for life if i visited as its packed with places like this.. places 500 years older as well! =)
Take care my friend!
Cheers
