About
I was working late at night, and started hearing loud booming noises, that shook the glass on the front of the building. I went to see what was going on, and found that Spartanburg was doing their fireworks display early. I grabbed the camera, ran up to the 5th floor balcony, and shot away. This is one of about 10 decent ones I got. Wish I had my tripod with me, but I think I did okay propped against the railing... the squiggly lines aren't all squiggly the same way - little or no camera shake. Real exposure info was 2 secs at f/19, ISO 200.
Thanks, Mary. I tried for some more on Monday night, but the fireworks I was shooting were consumer grade, and while I was better prepared for the shooting, they just weren't nearly as impressive. I haven't even bothered to convert those from RAW yet.
This is a great shot. I tried to get some the other night and they were rather disasterous. So, I apprecite that getting one like this is not that simple. Well caught. Mary
