About I took this picture in Memphis, TN about a year ago as a very severe storm passed over. The rain had stopped and the clouds were breaking to the west. It was very still after the storm passed and the sky over and behind me was jet black.

I posted a shot taken from a similar angle last year.

Wonderful silhouette Mark and I love the contrasting colors and the rays from the sun poking through...it's good that you didn't get rid of this one...well seen and captured....:):)Linda

Very menacing in B&W, Mark, but that was probably your intention in the first place.
Thank you for your very generous comment on my "soldiers' talk."
Best regards,
Rafi

Thanks for the comments, Brenda. I have a brother in Orlando that I have visited numerous times. I just haven't been there since I took up photography. He has a boat he keeps in Daytona and a place in the Keys.

I have already told him that I need to get down there soon for a visit and photo op! I just need to give myself a few days off to get it done.

This is one wicked sky! Very moody shot! Just awesome! We have a lot of those here in Florida, you will see! I have never posted one but have a few in my archives. It can be a scary sight especially if you are in the middle of no where and can't run/drive for shelter!

Great shot Mark, good tones and comp.
The street light at 90 degree angle seems to add something to the photo, perhaps a reference point for the different angles of the roofs, I don't know, any how, it works.
