Thank you, Laurie, but I'm not that brave, either. This one was only a small spider, which was why I had to get so close to him. I didn't see the size of his fangs till later. Ignorance is bliss. Cheers, Ann.

Thank you Riny. I must admit I didn't realise how big his pincers were until I saw the photo on the screen. I'll certainly treat these guys with more respect in the future. I find them in the garden all the time. Cheers, Ann.

You are very brave!! I've only managed to shoot a very small spider so far--nothing like this.
Fantastic details. I like the shallow dof--it really draws the eye to the little face. very well done. :)
