I like this shot very much Ferdinand, much like the effect of the Smokey Mtns. You've captured the mood perfectly. Thanks for sharing your beautiful portfolio with us!

Thank you for your interest. I live in Belgium, the flamish part in a small place, Londerzeel, situated between Brussels and Antwerp. I am making photos since more than 40 years, mostly B/W in my dark room. Since a couple of years I discovered FS and now I meanly work my photos with FS. I hope you like them. I already had a look on your photos and I like some of them very much. I hope we will meet again in UF, your comments are always welcome, also your critique(Sorry my english is not so good) Kind regards. Ferdinand

This is our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Dotremont. You wrote no bio and your photos are from various parts of Europe, so I was unable to locate your country of origin. I looked through the two pages of your portfolio. What I saw was an excellent use of nature to create images with excellent captions and a very clever use of P.S. When first meeting a new UF freind try to comment on the photo that friend poted last. This is because many times that photo is a representative of quite a few of his other photos. This is the case here also. In many of your photos you put words in the mouths of your creations. This lovely photo of the cows in the misty morning is a good representative of that trend. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime I thank you for your kind comment on my "Figure in colors." Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springm

I like the lowkey tones and muted colors together with the raising mist, very atmospheric shot. Maybe I would have tried out a sacrifice on the left side, only four trees, without the gate
