Hi Margaret, thanks for the comments. I believe that is a very astute observation, she believes she isn't beautiful - to use her words. I do know of deep sadness in her too. So interesting you picked it up.

No worries. I also sometimes get green (turquoise) skies. Dont really know if its something one should really try to fix.

Hi again, Alison - I'm back :-). I must just congratulate you on this shot. She looks like she is about to step out the screen - so realistic. You caught her skin texture so well. The exposure is perfect (something difficult with dark skin), and good sharpness.

this is fantastic portrait.. i think you are right, i believe photo may have been not as effective if she smiled..maybe..great work 10/10 Greg
