Hello Linda, thanks a lot for your appreciations.
It's a work in 4x5" (see Mr.M comments and backstage picture ;) ) where I enjoy to take the picture of this door.
As usual many time has been spent on composition and also on the best exposure (for the best film resulting).
This is the door of an ancient gate of some centuries ago. I saw it several time and I also desired to take a picture of it ... finally that afternoon .... :)

Giuliano I love this image, I like the perspective very much, the depth, and that it's b&w. I like the textures and the dried grasses on the stairs add interest and character to the already wonderful textures in this image. A good eye and an excellent capture...very well done...:):)Linda

J'aime bien l'idée de cette série de trois, et la composition de celle-ci, quoique un peu douce à mon goût.Mais cela ne lui enlève rien.
Pour le L il s'agit d'une protection qui vaut ce qu'elle vaut et que j'utilise sur internet seulement... :)

Infatti stavo per scrivere che avrei aumentato il contrasto, poi ho visto che era voluto ;) Comunque nonostante ciò, la foto non è piatta e questo di sicuro un po' è merito tuo, ma un po' anche della cinesina. Ho visto anche le altre, oltre che belle sono molto istruttive e simpatiche ;) Ciao, Max

Una porticina o forse una finestra!
Vedendo la tua foto, mi sembra quasi di sentire una storia..."Toc Toc" e dall'altra parte una voce che dice..."Non disturbarmi" e così questa porta rimane chiusa per sempre. Adesso è li che attende che qualcun altro bussi...la si può fotografare, ma nessuno più chiederà di entrare.

finito le ferie è.. grande GG..
una bella foto , come dire solare.. decisa, ben dettagliata e delineata, ma d'altro canto non c'erano dubbi che dalla camera uscisse tale signora foto!!!
