Thanks for commenting, James. I agree with you re: cropping the light at the bottom. I had tried it, but thought that including the stripe added to the image. -- Naomi

Nice shot of the formations and a good conversion to B&W. My initial impulse was to crop off the bright area at the bottom, yet that little sliver adds something to the image.

Beautiful and classic b&w landscape, Naomi. I really like the way there are alternating layers of light and dark tone.

The slight haze over the background helps to add a sense of depth and scale to the scene.

The scene is beautiful.
