I like a lot this old style of buildings &
wished very much to shoot some of these wonderful buildings in down town during my last vacation in Cairo , but unfortunatly police men prevented me from photographing in this area for security reasons !!!!!

There are a lot in such street corners with this style of buildings. This picture reminds me of Alexandria where I was born in Egypt. For some reasons I was wondering from where did the old remaining building in certain suburbs of Alexandria got that style of balconies & windows came from. You made me believe in the culture heritage of Greece the beauty of the left over architectures. Thanks a lot my dear friend for refreshing old good memories. Cheers Marian.

A great shot of some great architecture! I like the way there is so much detail you can keep looking at it and see new things about it that you didn't notice before.
That's also cool that you can see the bottom and top edges bending slightly due to the wide angle lens. :)
