I spent 45 minutes trying to capture her face! I move closer, she turns away. I sit in the grass for fifteen minutes slowly creeping forward and she turns the other way. I become impatient and just run at her, step in her "business" and she runs! This is all I could get, but I love it! I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions
Hi Kristy, this is Mabel, she is a Friesian, smashing earrings don't you think?!.....she is on the road at the moment due to the drought, I caught her Sunday morning on the way passed our place, thought she looked like a Mabel!....cheers,david.
I wouldn't change a thing Kristy. This portrays the subject well. Sometimes the less obvious image view says more about the subject than the obvious. You have captured the very essence of a cow called Daisy. Regards John
Hi Kristy, this shot amused me no end, looks like the back end of a cow, say no more.....just kidding, I think it is a well executed shot, good color etc. I have cows a plenty in my (unpublished) portfolio but they are, as you say, hard to capture, the long zoom lens is the go!!.....will I send you the front of a cow!? .....liked your portfolio shots, good work. cheers, david.
