Wierd... I have taken a very similar shot with my S1 IS. Same butterfly - which is very strange considering I live in New Mexico and this was in Ottawa.

I don't know my moths, so I can't help with the type. However, it is very pretty and blends in with the background so well. Todd, you have captured the subtle details in the moth wonderfully. Great composition. Mary
