nice shot chad! love all the geometry and the tones are excellent... to answer your question about my shot you recently commented on: it was done at dusk from outside my living room window, looking inside where a couple of lamps were on. they provide much of the light. i basically hit the shutter while swinging the camera straight down. does this make sense? the blue line near the middle is actually a window frame, and the yellowish area is the shade of a lamp. hope this helps. just find some interesting colored lights and start experimenting with moving the camera and you'll end up with something interesting sooner or later.

I don't really know what it is about this one exactly, but I really LOVE it. The perspective really draws me in, and the narrow framing keeps my attention centered. I like how nothing here is shown in its entirety, yet it's clear what this photo is of. Excellent shot.

Your "about" is a fact about the musical "machine" you describe . . . the image is alot more than that . . . it is very unique and engaging . . . I love the tension on the strings that your choice of perspective displays.
