I think Valerio was very rude with you. Even if he considers your image banal, he has not the right to be so bad.
I suppose you just tried to work a "banal image" to add to it some more fantasy. Personally i find it more "design" then "photography", but it is worthing the try.

In this case I would not deserve to upload photos on this site.
I was talking about my own photo which is not really a good one but simply has a sentimental value.

i like the composition... im a sucker for 50/50 shots like this. interesting choice to solarize it... im not sure about that. still i like it =)
