A trademark Khaled shot! Sorry my friend to be so quiet for so long. I have been so busy and some difficult times to, but by God's grace all is well.
I love the clouds here and the nice framing with the old houses. Actually apart from the lamps id could be from 100 years ago!

Beautiful and amazing architecture - especially taking into account when they were built! I love the way you've frames the two towers with the foreground building. The slightly skewed perspective gives me the feeling of craning my neck upward to take in the grandeur of the minarets! Well done, my friend!

Hi Arwa,
Thanx a lot for your continious support and comments my friend.
Actually I tried to do some work with PS to enhance the buildings on both sides that I used to frame the gate with coz they were dark in the original image because they were in the shade and the gate was in direct sunlight....
I noticed that the gate is little tilted but if you look to the top of the natural frame, you'll find it not titled... I think it was because that the view of the gate from this street was little bit to the left side, so when I tried to centralize it in my photo within this natural frame of buildings it came tilted a little.
Thanx a lot dear Arwa, best regards and take care,
Khaled.

Hi Lavendu,
Thanx for your nice comments... actually yes, this photo was captured from an apposing street full of bazaars of tent makers and other souvenirs....
When I looked at the gate I liked how it was naturally framed with the buildings on both sides of the street.
Thanx a lot my friend for your support and encouragement.. best regards,
Khaled.

The tones are unbelievably good!
it doesn?t look like its digital! The quality of the tones looks as if it was photographed using film!
Nice work on the exposure! Looks like it wasn?t easy but you managed to get the sky, minarets and gates!
but khaled isnt it tilted?? :)

lavendu ...   {K:4882} 5/20/2005
what a splendid view of the bab zuwaila!
you made the shot from the bazaar of tentmakers? I like this kind of architectural frame.
in addition your competent ps-work has created a dramatic mood.
