Hi,Arwa I hope with these worlds close this argument, I never in my whole live hurt or offended some one especially a friend in art photography which we share interest and always respect you and considered you as my sister, you do not need to say forgive me `cos you never offend me, and I know those worlds is not in correct place and not meant to be me, I was just suspicious, enjoy clicking and have fun.

Sear saeed You one of the few people here that I feel 100% comfortable when replying to them or leaving a comment Im known for talking before thinking and in this case typing before thinking, ?my bad? I meant my mistake trying to apologize for my earlier unkind comment When I said ?bizarre? about your image I never meant to offend it, the idea that I was trying to get through was that the image is unique unusual and different Hope you can forgive me

Hi,Arwa I came here to answer your last comments to me,`cos I think there is not the correct place (POD section) for those arguments. You do not need to take it seriously and personally any suggestion, just take it easy and if you think its worth commenting on it, go a head but as general and not every suggestion is about you! You have the right to agree and disagree. Now I have to ask you one thing, did you read my suggestion carefully, `cos in your last comment here it is (Your right! My bad saeed! :"> When you said inexperienced automatically I included myself in that category). I?ve read twice my suggestion but never mentioned inexperienced! Now I became little bit suspicious about your words, yesterday you mentioned the world BIZARRE and today BAD Saeed, and how it comes!!!!

Salam,
Very nice journalism shot wich could be part of a more global workshop. Tones are well worked. One remark is about the T shirt. Its darkness could have provide better effect with the white wall behind. I like very much this social and funny aspect of this shot.
Take Care Arwa

Beautiful composition and wonderful moment. I like how the mother blends into the opening of the wall and the body language of the child. Beautitul rich tonal range. Best regards, Andree

If you look at the composition, it's perfect and also the shadow cut the frame in a very nice way. Regarding the subject I usually prefer to take the picture at the same height of the child. Sometimes it is also a good exercize to see the world from a different perspective and anyway you avoid to "squeeze" the children for the perspective squeezing effect (as in this picture ;) .... big head, small feets).
Bye

hi P.J. It was very bright and with the white wall it was difficult to meter the image Any idea how to select a specific point for manual metering in the D70? thank you for the comment :)

Great moment captured here, Arwa. Their standing pose really dramatize the scene. The spacious hall way to the right add the mood here. Very nice street shot, my friend, congratulations!

Another great street shot Arwa. See, inspiration comes when you least expect it :) Interesting isnt it how we can mis-interpret an image tho. Without the explanation it really does appear as if the child is hiding. You should look at the work of Manuel Alvarez Bravo. Hes one of my all time favourite photographers. Your image reminds me of some of his work. http://www.masters-of-photography.com/A/alvarez_bravo/alvarez_bravo.html
