Lovely landscape photograph Judi, it is amazing how fast duckweed spreads. I had some on my pond (about a dozen which came in on plants) in a few weeks it had covered the whole pond !

I am not too sure Yutaka. To be honest I only saw this bridge for the first time the other day. I will have to check in spring to see if there are any little white flowers. We are coming into Winter right now.

This is a beautiful image Judi, I also like the color of the water/weed, but what I really like about this is the colors of the sky poking through the intriguing canopy of tree branches in the top third...Captivating....:) Linda

Thanks Angelo. The common name is Duckweed but this is a type of that weed. Yes, it is a nuisance to the waterways.
