About Remembered this after seeing the swan family posted by Larry Fosse. Of course, this seems to be a single parent household--one of many to be found here.

Sure I commented on this already, but no, apparently not. I certainly remember looking at it and being most impressed. For me, it's that diagonal that really makes it - really beautifully composed. Great to see it on the front page.

I R 2. Based on your portfolio, I'd say you are pretty highly evolved . . .

All the best,

Ok . . . Flora is plants . . . Fauna is not . . . They're all just "F-stops" on the evolutionary road for photographers and you still have a fun shot here. Thanks for reminding me that having finished college I can proudly say "Now I are educated!" ;D

Doyle I

No, Doyle, that's "flora." I was just being a little smart-alecky. ;-) Thanks for the comments.

Congratulations George -
A well deserved honor has been accorded a good photographer . . . but why the Fauna portfolio . . . fauna is plants, right? This is a great capture!

Thanks, Armando. I like the picture, but it is rather ironic that I had paid no attention to it until I saw a shot of geese posted by Larry Fosse. I dug this out and posted it just as a playful afterthought and inside joke. And now I find it very well-received while some of what I consider my best pics go relatively unnoticed. That's another great thing about Usefilm, I guess. I enjoyed Betty's snail. ;-) I do hope your system is moving along faster. --g

Very neat family picture George, did you have to follow them around a bit to get them like you wanted?? The chase would be fun, and of course the grass is always greener, yep!

They're heading for the nice soft grass and a better chance of food I think. Lovely shot, I think you have caught the perfect moment.

That is a fun picture, a sense of family, won't be eating chicken today.
