About	Taken at Mihintale, the place where Buddhism was brought to Sri Lanka by King Ashoka's son... These two school boys are from a local village and approached me and asked me to take their photograph and mail it to them which I have since done... One has to climb the rock on the steps at background numbering some 1200 to reach the top of the Mihintale shrine.

You will get lots of opportunities for some rare photographs in village life in Batticaloa area. You will see how happy people are in simple ways of life too. Have you been to Sri Lanka before?
