The only switches I can find on either of my Sigma D lenses are one for locking the exposure ring and the other locks the change from Macro to Normal. Is this latter one what you mean, and if so which way should it be please?

Hi Larry... What a coincidence.. I bought the SB-600 too... Still trying to get a grip from it...
As for the problem with the AF... Be sure that the lens is set to AF and not manual (There is a switch on the lense for this), and that the D70 is also set to AF and not manual. The control is at the left side of the lens in the D70...

Yes flash Maluisa, a wedding banquet room not well lit. I am having problems auto focusing. Have had several of important shots blurr out. took 3 shots of bride/groom returning from altar with flash, none are useable. Have another wedding next Sat. Any ideas please??
