No, Mark, I haven't been there for a while, but I do hope to get back. I was just sorting through some pics from the recent past (Great memories, but I already need more disc storage!) and found a few that looked interesting. You know how that is . . . --g

Paul--That idea did cross my mind. ;-) What really fascinated me was its sturdy design and construction and clear sense of purpose. I'm still wondering! --g

quite nice shape; may be the poor light intensity hamper the use of higher f/number so the bottom unfocused part is a bit disturbing for me; nice the composition though it recalls me one of my recent shot very very similar in concept

Très belle image de ce petit bateau qui a la coque d'un remorqueur et qui doit bien prendre la vague et être vaillant malgré son apparence; je le verrais aussi sur le Missisipi; votre photo le montre comme immobile à demeure. drilan

Very charming scene! Not sure much can be pulled by this boat, maybe it's just for the kids, a make believe tug boat... -- Kind reagrds, Rafael

Is it a marker buoy for shallow water.? It's got some sort of wind speed spinner on top but that would not tell you wind direction, only how hard the wind is blowing. Got what looks to be some sort of netting on the cabin to keep out the bugs and a fire extinguisher hanging on the wall. I say a marker of some sort. Oh yeah and nice shot also. -mm

Nice shot of the little toot George!Hard to say what it is, but it does look like a tug boat.Of course this boat would not be able to tug much! Well done George! My best.................John
